Blonde & Fun
In this material world, it's a sad reality that we're judged on how we
look. There is so much beneath the exterior that means so much more
than anything on the outside does, and I suppose we never truly know
each other completely for this very reason. We hide behind how we
look, we mask our fears and our insecurities, enhance beauty and
create a persona, which we hope impresses people. It's a double-edged
sword, because you have the power to change the way you carry yourself
and the way you feel simply by changing the way you look.
I'm inspired to write about this mostly because I'm having a Spring moment, and I felt the need to bring perky back by going blonder again. For most people, a change in attitude doesn't have to mean a drastic change in appearance. It can be as simple as a change of shoes, a belt, a necklace, a fragrance, etc. The smallest thing can give you confidence, and though it doesn't have to be a material item, it certainly doesn't hurt to try one. As dangerous as being aware of your physical appearance can be, becoming a polished version of yourself will inevitably inspire you to do great things!
So I took the plunge again and went blonder. Yes, I admit I'm naturally a darker blonde, but I can't help it: I love being a bright blonde! I'm such a hypocrite. Just a few weeks ago I was so happy with the darker color, and here I am, reveling in the brightness of my Spring hair. It's the little things that keep me going, and keep me smiling. For me, the blonder, the funner (and in my dictionary, 'funner' is perfectly acceptable).
As the vernal equinox steadily approaches, and the days get increasingly longer, I will be jumping for joy and I encourage you to do the same! Find your key to a happier and more confident you, a positive you, and I can guarantee productivity will increase and you'll be inspired to reach out more. Your perception could change for the better, and you'll be excited to make a difference on a grand scale. Blonde does it for me! High heels seem to have a similar effect, and I guess wearing yellow does too, and a good song and an inspiring quote and sunshine...
